|Emily and Max bird watching|
|I got a new handbag and Emily got her own apartment!|
Emily was part of an unwanted litter of kittens. At first she was grey and looked like a crazy little wolf spider. Now that she's grown, she's absolutely gorgeous. She has feathery black fur and the littlest black nose. She's especially fond of making nests in boxes and bringing us her "kill" (a stuffed octopus).Thank goodness she's an inside kitty. I'd hate to find dead mice and bird presents. Our feral kitty brings us plenty!
Max is my big couch potato. He was a feral baby when we brought him inside. It was absolutely nerve-wracking taking him from his mom. Luckily, he was the only one in the litter, so he was well taken care of. And very fat. And long. He looked like a loaf of black kitten. We wanted to give him a big name; his proper name is Maxamillion the Impaler. After five years, he's starting to learn how to cuddle. Some mornings I wake up to a heavy cat butt on my chest (ow!) and claws in my face (ow.) and a thunderous purr. Mostly he likes to sleep and eat. When he's hungry he'll yell "MOM!". Also, he's a little bottom heavy, as you can see in this next picture.
